Beam coping systems
The CNC controlled beam coping systems of Voortman are the only robotic systems in the world today combined with a roller feed measuring system for total flexibility and accuracy. The advantages of a roller feed measuring system includes space saving, the possibility to produce beams with an unlimited length, higher production speed with significant time savings.
V806M
The V806M is a beam coping system with a universal six axis industrial robot especially designed for cutting I-beams, H-beams, channels, angles, rectangular tubes and flat-bars. The system is capable of cutting in both flanges (from left and right side) and the web (from above) of beams and can also carry out web and flange bevels.
V808M
The V808M is designed and built using an industrial robot, which has the flexibility to cut all possible copes, contours and produce layout marks on steel profiles. This provides not only an enormous freedom to design and produce structures with the most complex connections and copes, but also a significant increase in production speed.
VACAD module
The VACAD module which is now integrated into VACAM is a very flexible drawing/design tool, allowing you to create, modify and delete contours, holes, imprints, marks etc. There is now no restriction in only using standard macro's anymore, from now on you can import any shape you want. Even importing a DSTV file, from for example SDS2 or Tekla is possible, and even better, without almost any adjustment you can start producing your products. The VACAD module will also show you the actual dimensions in a clear graphical image.
Other well-known CAD functions like snap, pan, copy, paste, undo, redo and more options are available as standard. In VACAD it is possible to save contours as templates, these templates can easily be inserted into other products. Through the use of the "wizard" function, it is possible to insert complex contours, so you don't have to program them by hand. Available wizards are: Castellation, Straight cut, angles, slotted beam connection (Jay Allen). All other shapes like block out's, flange thin, ratholes, weld preps etc. can all be easily programmed with a few simple mouse-clicks.
