Top coating line

The Voortman top coating lines are developed for post fabrication solutions for the automatic painting of steel structures. The system consists of an infeed system, VCB shot blaster, automatic painting machine, a drying tunnel and an outfeed system. Depending on the ambient temperature a pre-heater can be added to the system as an additional extra.

Painting machine

The advantages of the Voortman range of automatic painting machines are the economic use of paint and reduce of man-hours. Sensors recognise the contours and dimensions of the structures to be painted. Due to this information the adjustable oscillating spray heads are positioned very accurate, which results in an equal applied coat. The non-adhesive surface of the plain inner walls of the chamber makes cleaning very easy. The cabin floor is protected with a single-use foil. After cleaning the cabin walls the paint-dust residues lying on the floor can be easily pulled via the floor foil sideways out of the machine, replacing the used foil with fresh one in the same movement.

Drying tunnel

The paint drying tunnel is placed directly behind the paintcabin in a continuous line. A traveling grate, integrated in the drying tunnel takes over the freshly coated material from the painting cabin. The unit is operated with warm circulating air and is to considerably enforce the drying process of the freshly coated material. Heating and ventilation aggregates are positioned on side of the transport section.
