Post fabrication shot blasting

The VCB serie shot blasting machines is developed by Voortman for the automatic shot blasting of plates, profiles and fabricated constructions up to 1.500mm wide. These machines are suitable to work as a “stand alone” shot blasting machine with roller conveyors and liftable cross transports on the infeed and outfeed side.

The 15kW shot blast turbines guarantee a high passage speed which means that this machine is also extremely suitable to integrate into a Voortman automated production line for sawing, drilling and shot blasting.

The control is simple thanks to the pre-programmed blasting programs, automatic starting cycle and many automatic functions. The design of the shot-blasting machine is characterised by its compact shape and the ease of access for inspection and maintenance works.

The shot-blasting machine comprises the following modules:

Control software

The Windows controlled user interface is programmed in VACAM, which makes the shot-blasting machine fully compatible with the entire delivery program of Voortman. Therefore the shot blasting machine can easily be combined with the Voortman sawing and drilling lines. The machine control is characterized by its flexibility, ease of control and simplicity.
