V613T CNC Drill line

The V613T is a flexible CNC beam drill line with one rotating drilling spindle. This system allows material can be drilled horizontally and vertically with 1 rotating drill unit. The CNC beam drill line is provided with an automatic tool changer with a magazine of 5 drills on each side for a total of 10. The tool changer allows multiple hole diameters to be drilled without any manual intervention.

A feeder truck carries out the positioning of a profile with a hydraulic gripper. The Voortman gripper can clamp various types of profiles without manual operator adjustment. By adding an automatic unloading system for short pieces and off cuts a combined drilling and sawing system can produce automatically for extended periods of time.

Combining with other systems for increased production capacity

All CNC drill lines can be combined with a horizontal band saw from the VB-range and a hydraulic marking unit. For increased production capacity the sawing system and drilling system can be split into separate lines. After sawing, the material is transferred with cross transports into the CNC drill line automatically. For further automation a Voortman shot blaster can be added to the production line. Therefore one operator can centrally control all these machines for drilling, sawing and shot blasting.

Software

The software program “VACAM-Machine Edition” is installed on the control system. The control system can be integrated in the company’s network, so that DSTV- and DSTV+-data can be directly downloaded, from system files within the company database, to the drilling system.
