Automatic material detection

For an optimal cleaning principle and standard low abrasive consumption the complete range is equipped with material detection at the front of the machine. Separate abrasive feed to the turbines guarantees lower energy consumption, less wear and tear and a lower abrasive usage. By connecting the material detection to the brush blow off unit all machines are able to deliver a product that can be painted immediately after shot blasting.

Blasting cabinet

The wear plates accomplish a long lifetime inside the sophistically built triple layer blasting cabinet. The solid hardened rolls and the outside mounted bearings ensure inside works are kept to a minimum and machine uptime is maximized. Large maintenance hatches for effortless accessibility of the blasting cabinet for routine checks.

To reach the desired line speed Voortman turbines can vary in diameter and power level.

The turbines are mounted in different angles to reach all sides of the steel profiles.

Running costs / Maintenance costs

The ergonomic machine design creates low maintenance costs and allows easy accessibility to quickly replace different wear parts. This results in high uptime and more output.

Software

The software program “VACAM-Machine Edition” is installed on the control system. The control system can be integrated in the company’s network, so DSTV- and DSTV+-data can be directly downloaded, from system files within the company database, to the system.

 
Options

These pre fabrication shot blasting machines can be provided with several options.

Cross transports

Infeed liftable cross transportLiftable cross transports are used for loading and unloading the shot blaster. The hydraulic liftable trucks can transport a package of profiles simultaneously.

Brush unit for removing drilling curls

Brush unit for removing drilling curls A brush unit will be placed at the infeed side of the shot blaster to remove drilling swarf from the profiles. During the infeed of the profiles, the brush is rotated by means of electric motor. For collecting the drilling swarf, a bin is placed under the brush unit.

 
Software

In VACAM, production data can be in- and exported in the format of DStV(+).

Besides the comfort of a Windows based environment VACAM has the advantage that authorized persons at all times can retrieve real-time information about the production progress. This can be done through an on-screen in-motion presentation of the system.

For a more detailed report the Production Data Exporter module can be used. This module allows real-time fabrication information sharing. In any case all operations and motions performed on the system are stored for sharing with any ERP, MRP, MIS and BIM software systems.
