Besides accommodating the material the stock system uses VACAM software to keep track of the processed material, with regular feedback to the work preparation department when the safety stock level is reached. The stock management system can be connected to numerous ERP-systems.

Due to its modular design the system can be customized to the workshop dimensions and desired capacity of the end user.

If there are height limitations in the workshop the complete system can be extended under floor level.

The material bins in the stock system can accommodate different types of material. The grouping of the material inside the bin can be adapted to customer demand at any time.

An automatic production process can be realised by integrating the stock system with an (un)loading crane. The crane is loading the material from the stock system to the processing system. Even rest lengths are controlled and stored for later use. Waste material will be discharged automatically.

The crane is also used for loading the bins with new stock, for this a loading dock is available, that does not disturb the normal daily production.

On the outfeed side the finished products are controlled with a discharge and sorting system. In this way all products, short and long, are proper stored for the following step in your production sequence.

The software program “VACAM-Machine Edition” is installed on the control system. The control system can be integrated in the company’s network, so DSTV- and DSTV+-data can be directly downloaded, from system files within the company database, to the system.

For loading and unloading of material bins the stock system can be fitted with outfeed stations at the front and/or back of the base frame. The traverse outfeed stations can be combined with an automatic loading crane.

The loading crane is suitable for the automatic loading of the infeed cross transports e.g. a punching and shearing system with flat steel. The loading crane is provided with several electrically operated switchable magnets.
