The V550 punching and shearing series is, as all Voortman machinery, modular built. Depending on customer demand different automation levels can be achieved. Full control with feeder truck

Reaching a high processing speed and extreme short infeed times, the use of a feeder truck with material clamping is necessary. Because the feeder truck is servo driven, it is very fast. Another main advantage of the feeder truck is that waste material can be taken back to the infeed side. So no mix up at the outfeed between finished products and waste material! Also partial mitre cuts of flat steel are automatically processed.

High output

Producing on the V550 grants a very high output. Additional modules make it possible to reduce your man hours per tonnage even more. No manual intervention is necessary, you produce your flat and angle steel in one flow!

Modular design

Our punching and shearing systems are modular, you can start with a basic system to suit you immediate needs, or when circumstances change, it is possible to extend your production line to meet your new production demands. Therefore different modules, like an automatic infeed, a horizontal punching, an angle steel shear and an automatic product sorting system can be added.

Unmanned operation

The V550 series can run without any manual intervention when a stock system with a (un)loading crane is connected. On the outfeed side the line can be attached to a product sorting systems. With these components a complete automated line is realized!

Software

The software program “VACAM-Machine Edition” is installed on the control system. The control system can be integrated in the company’s network, so DSTV- and DSTV+-data can be directly downloaded, from system files within the company database, to the system.

 
Options

These punching and shearing systems can be provided with several options.

Automatic loading crane

The loading crane is suitable for the automatic loading of the machine. The loading crane is provided with several electrically operated switchable magnets to load material from a floor magazine on the drag-chain cross transports. With the group and sort functions in the software the operator can select quickly the products he wishes to produce.

Outfeed roller conveyor

The machine can be equipped with an outfeed roller conveyor. The first section of this roller conveyor is manually liftable, so following shearing short products are dropped in a bin placed under this piece of conveyor. Long products and off cuts are transported along the outfeed roller conveyor.

Automatic outfeed system

Automatic outfeed systemFor automatic outfeed of the products, an automatic system is available, this outfeed system consists of a roller conveyor and cross supports. The first section of the roller conveyor is pneumatic liftable. After shearing, small products fall directly in a bin. Long products will be carried off with the motor-driven conveyor and pushed off sideways onto the cross supports.

Angle shear

The machine automatically switches if angle steel has to be cut. For a cleaner cut the machine is provided with a hydraulic clamping unit. (with a capacity of 2400 KN)

Product sorting system

Product sorting systemFor the effective sorting of the products the machine can be provided with an automatic product sorting system. With the product sorting system, individual products can be automatically sorted by product, profile, load or project allowing the machine to automatically produce unmanned for long periods.

Outfeed conveyor belt

Outfeed conveyor beltBy means of the outfeed conveyor belt, after cutting the products are directly transported onto the outfeed table on the front side of the belt.

 
Software

In VACAM, production data can be in- and exported in the format of DStV(+).

Besides the comfort of a Windows based environment VACAM has the advantage that authorized persons at all times can retrieve real-time information about the production progress. This can be done through an on-screen in-motion presentation of the system.

For a more detailed report the Production Data Exporter module can be used. This module allows real-time fabrication information sharing. In any case all operations and motions performed on the system are stored for sharing with any ERP, MRP, MIS and BIM software systems.
