The Voortman V310 offers advanced tapping capabilities designed for maximum flexibility and precision. Our VACAM software intelligently distinguishes between fully drilled holes and blind holes, ensuring optimal tool selection and process control.

To prevent tool collisions during full tapping operations, VACAM automatically creates additional space at the bottom of the hole. We use a tapered tapping tool to extend consumable life and maintain consistent quality. For blind tapped holes, the V310 seamlessly switches to a blind hole tapping tool, engineered to move chips upward when bottom clearance is limited. This effectively prevents processing errors.

Effortless Small Tapping with Thread Rolling Taps

Thanks to recommendations from our tooling department, the V310 now supports Thread Rolling Taps, enabling precise tapping up to M6 without errors. The machine’s precise axis control ensures high-quality results and long tool life, even in the smallest applications.
