The Voortman V630 demonstrates simultaneous three-side processing of an H-beam, also known as a W-beam in North America. The machine has three drill heads. One processes the web, while the other two process the flanges. This allows the web and both flanges to be processed at the same time.
Unlike conventional beam drilling machines that process each side separately, the V630 completes multiple operations in a single pass. This reduces cycle times, minimizes material handling, and helps increase throughput without compromising accuracy.
