What’s new for plates with DIGI-EVI?
DIGI-EVI, previously available only for beam machines and the Fabricator , is now ready for plate processing. It is integrated into VACAM (Voortman’s machine control software). You can now view detailed product-level insights. This includes how much work has been completed on each product, the machine status and an overview of the completed projects.
What is DIGI-EVI?
DIGI-EVI offers real-time alerts, performance tracking, and remote monitoring. With one dashboard, production managers can track machine status and quickly spot issues. This helps boost uptime and productivity. Production managers can also monitor KPIs, compare trends, and manage more machines with fewer people. Targeted notifications show exactly where action is needed. DIGI-EVI is available on both mobile and desktop platforms.
Beams vs. plates:
What changes in DIGI-EVI
While the overall functionality of DIGI-EVI remains the same for both beams and plates, there are key differences when it comes to output data. For example: Beams production is tracked by tonnage, but for plates, this metric isn’t as relevant. The dashboard layout remains the same but now includes additional filters for plates, such as:
- Nesting level
- Plate thickness
- Material type
