Construction in Monee is moving forward quickly, and preparations for our first production start in 2026 are coming together. Our new facility is a major step toward delivering faster service, local support, and the same high-quality solutions you know us for.

Progress in Monee

Our new production facility near Chicago is coming together quickly. The workshop floors are poured, exterior walls are almost complete, and the office roof is finished. Inside, crews are installing walls, electrical systems, piping, and sprinklers.

Next up: the final floor sections, gas supply, and outdoor paving. Each milestone brings us closer to the exciting stage where we’ll start the interior fit-out and prepare for assembly. Meanwhile, our teams in the U.S. and the Netherlands are working side by side to make sure everything is ready for a smooth launch.

Looking ahead

In the coming months, we’ll finish construction, grow our local team, and structure processes and systems that will keep everything running smoothly. We’re on track to commission the new facility in the first part of 2026, a major milestone for Voortman and for our customers in North America.

This expansion combines the best of both worlds: local assembly in the U.S. backed by our proven expertise, technology, and processes from the Netherlands.
