The project has priority, otherwise the fitter cannot continue. The plate processing machine must be shut down. The missing plate parts need to be cut from another thicker plate. That takes time. The plate parts are in the storage tower. It is your stock for the next month. That gives peace of mind. Sort by sort. Sorted out on the rubber mats in the drawers. They don't move. Piece by piece. Sort by sort. Whether a connection- or base plate, they are stacked. In bins, on a pallet or on the floor. Side by side or mixed. In an endless row. The wrong size or the quality of your plate part is not good. The beam is ready, but the plates are missing. The plates that are there do not match the beam. Problems will arise during assembly. Quality. That is your starting point of your stock. It's right. In the Voortman Plate Sorter, your products are identified by a 3D camera. It checks for outer and inner contour, thickness, holes and slotted holes.
A general quality check. If the plate product does not have the correct dimensions or a machining is not there, the product is automatically sorted into the rejection bin. Convenient. During planning, the work preparer is immediately notified if a product is missing. Ideal. Still enough time to arrange the right plate products. Everyone is relieved.
