THE STORY
In October 2012 the company Schwevers & Raab Stahl-Hochbau GmbH moved into a new production facility in the German Kalkar. To design the machinery layout for this new facility, we decided to use Voortman's expertise. After a building period of seven months we were ready to begin production.
Equipment for new facility
For the new production facility, a new V630 drilling system, VB1050 sawing system as well as a V320 plate processing system and VSB1500 shot blaster are installed in the 4.000 m2 workshop to create a highly automated production line. The earlier investments: a Voortman V550 punching and shearing system and V3100 stock system, moved along.
