Plate processing system V330C

The V330C is a combined drilling and thermal CNC controlled system for the processing of plate. The system consists of a non-driven infeed roller conveyor, a plate positioning system with two hydraulic clamps, a machine base frame with on the infeed side a vertical drilling unit and on the outfeed side an oxy-acetylene torch unit, an automatic unloading table and a non-driven outfeed roller conveyor.

Plasma and Oxy-Acetylene cutting units

The V330C combined plate processing system is fitted with a plasma and/or oxy-acetylene cutting units. The high speed positioning of the cutting torches is carried out using precision ball screws combined with servo-drives. The torches are suitable for the automatic cutting of shapes through a combination of the X-axis (plate positioning device) and Y-axis (torch) servo drives. The system is fitted with a high performance plasma cutting unit. This unit is fitted with hy-definition technology, which aligns and focuses the plasma arc, improving arc stability and energy for more powerful precision cutting.

Servo controlled plate positioning system

The positioning device, with several hydraulic clamps, ensures accurate and high speed positioning of the plate. The advantage of clamping the plate at the side is that any deviation in the straightness of the plate will not be duplicated to the individual parts, shape and hole positions.

High-speed drilling

The drilling unit is suitable for the use of carbide tipped drills and is provided with an automatic tool changer. Layout marks and part numbers designated to the plates are carried out using the drilling unit, by milling with a special marking tool.

Nesting software

Sigmanest Lite software for manual plate nesting is installed on the machine control system. For automatic plate nesting the Sigmanest Techno version is available. This software is able to read several standard file formats like DXF, DWG or DSTV. With the Techno version new plates as well as previously cut plates can be used for nesting. Part cut plates can be stored in a plate library for future use.
