T Metal very satisfied with Voortman systems

T Metal spol. s.r.o. is a rapidly growing structural steel company in the Czech Republic. The company started in 1994 with 21 employees. After several extensions the company currently processes approx. 4.000 ton steel per year with 120 employees. T Metal focuses on two production groups: the delivery and erection of structural steel constructions and plate processing.
In October 2008 Voortman installed a V250 Plate punching & drilling system and in February 2009 a VB1050/V613M Sawing & drilling system. Through automating this part of the production process, T Metal wanted to reach three objectives:
- Increasing of the production capacity
- A faster production preparation
- Improving the accuracy
After almost a year of production with the plate punching & drilling system and over half a year of production with the sawing & drilling system, it is obvious for T Metal that they made a good investment.
