Voortman Holding
Voortman Automatisering is a part of Technisch Bureau Voortman. In 1968 the brothers Voortman started a company in Rijssen, in this company they were building machines and producing steel structures.
In the 70's two separate companies, Voortman Automatisering and Voortman Staalbouw, were established. Since that time both companies have grown independently. Technisch Bureau Voortman BV is the management holding company of Voortman Automatisering and Voortman Staalbouw. The German WT-Stahlbau GMBH, was established in 1996, and is also a part of Technisch Bureau Voortman. All companies function independently and are each policy and administratively supported by Technisch Bureau Voortman.
After the establishment of Voortman Automatisering BV, the company has rapidly grown. After a number of expansions on the original location, Voortman Automatisering BV moved to a new building at the Ozonstraat in the year 2000.
