By combining the V613T drilling system and VB1050 sawing system in one production line the pre-fabrication of steel profiles can be completely automated and eventually results in saving a lot of time and space.

The automatic infeed system fitted with a feeder truck provides high efficiency with both long and short length products.

The latest video made according to Voortman’s brand new video concept contains the V806M steel coping system.

The universal six axis industrial robot provides extreme flexibility and enables the machine to cut every 3D shape possible by using oxygen and/or plasma. Measuring rolls mounted in the middle of the machine and a fixed position of the robot in the center of the system make it possible to cut on both front and end of the material in one process.

Voortman exhibited at NASCC 2012 at the Gaylord Texan Convention Center April 18th-20th. Voortman Corporation was again able to demonstrate to the North American market why it is so successful with innovation and technical advantages that drive the ever increasing market share for Voortman. AISC members were impressed with the full line of Voortman machinery displayed throughout Voortman’s booth.

The 2010 Product Introduction Days were such a success Voortman has organized a 2012 event! On Thursday the 28th and Friday the 29th of June 2012 Voortman will open its doors to the public. Voortman will demonstrate a large number of steel processing machines and discuss how we have implemented the highest levels of technology to increase production speed and reduce labor costs.

Jos Reijns from the Dutch steel construction company Jac Reijns Staalconstructie in Alphen, The Netherlands invested in a V613T/ VB750 drilling,- layout marking- and sawing system from Voortman. In the first place for fully automatic processing of steel beams, but with the introduction of layout marking he expects to take advantage of great time savings. “Now we have the time to explore this new method, so we are fully equipped for the future”.
