VB-series of Band sawing machines

Voortman developed six models of band sawing machines especially for sawing structural steel. Five sawing machines are designed for mitre and straight cutting, the sixth for straight cutting only of profiles. The sawing machines are fitted with a material sensor, powered rotary brush to remove swarf and hydraulic clamps on both sides of the saw band. The band speed is frequency controlled and the feed rate is automatically controlled to suit the profile type and size. The sawing pressure and feed are hydraulic.

According to the requirements of steel fabricators, Voortman offers several positioning systems for the transportation and measuring of the material: a full stop length measuring system, a feeder truck with hydraulic gripper and a feeder rolls positioning system. Voortman band sawing machines can be combined with a V630 and/or V613 drilling system.

Band saw VB750 The VB750 horizontal mitre cutting band saw has a blade size of 41 x 1.3 mm. Bandsaw VB1250 The VB1250 horizontal mitre cutting band saw has a blade size of 67 x 1.6 mm. Band saw VB1050S This sawing machine is the only straight band saw in the Voortman delivery program of steel construction machinery
