Introduction VB1050S Horizontal bandsaw
The VB1050S is developed for the straight cutting of profiles. This sawing machine is the only straight band saw in the Voortman delivery program of steel construction machinery. The band speed is frequency controlled and the cutting pressure is automatically adapted to the material section. The saw is also equipped with a hydraulic blade tension device. The system compensates for the stretch of the saw blades.
The VB1050S can be combined with a length measuring system with feeder truck, measuring rolls or a length measuring system with a stop truck. With the feeder truck system it can reach the sawing line, therefore all products out of one starting length can be sawn automatically with this measuring system. The advantage of a stop truck is the possibility to cut a bundle of profiles at the same time. The VB1050S is often combined with the V630 drilling system. The combination makes a very compact drilling/sawing system.
