Introduction VB1250 Horizontal band saw
The heaviest saw from the Voortman VB-range mitre cutting band saws is the VB1250. This horizontal mitre-cutting saw is equipped with a control system for the selection of the mitre angle and the automatic sawing cycle. The band speed is frequency controlled and the cutting pressure is automatically adjusted to the material section. The feed rate is automatically controlled to suit the profile type and size.
The Voortman sawing machines can be combined with a length measuring system with feeder truck or a length measuring system with a stop truck. With the feeder truck system it can reach the sawing line, therefore all products out of one starting length can be sawn automatically with this measuring system. The advantage of a stop truck is the possibility to cut a bundle of profiles at the same time.
