Until recently, steel wholesaler and service provider ThyssenKrupp Schulte GmbH of Düsseldorf (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) still had its steel plates blasted by outside companies at its branch in Siegen. But the company has recently invested in a VSB2500 shot blasting system from Voortman and can now deliver more quickly, effectively and efficiently than ever before. Mr. Egon Bender, branch director at ThyssenKrupp Schulte is satisfied with the investment: "This has been a long-standing wish at our facility!"
ThyssenKrupp chooses Voortman quality
The services ThyssenKrupp Schulte offers also include surface treatment for steel materials. Since this service can now be provided ‘in-house’, Egon Bender has great expectations for the future: "We expect that the purchase of the VSB2500 shot blasting system will provide us with high machine capacity utilisation for our own orders on hand as well as for subcontracting orders. We also hope to acquire additional orders for our other units!"
When we asked Mr. Bender about his experience with Voortman and what "We also found Voortman’s concept to be quite convincing!" Mr. Egon Bender tipped the scales for choosing this system, he had the following to say about his concept: "We came to know Voortman as a well-organised and professionally run company. Voortman persuaded us with its good cost-to-benefit ratio. The installation was conducted professionally and the strict set-up schedule was followed precisely! The staff is well-trained and experienced.
