Research for drill line
Harold Taylor: "Recently I came a cross an advertisement for the Voortman V600 CNC drill line in AISC’s magazine called Modern Steel Construction. The advertisement immediately caught my attention. With the AISC convention coming up in Phoenix I decided I would attend the show with the sole purpose of revisiting the drill line and particularly the opportunity to compare the three manufacturers of drill lines side by side."
Voortman top of the list
"I spent the better part of three days comparing features and talking to the representatives of the various manufacturers. When it was all said and done the Voortman V600 was at the top of my list. We had a V600 delivered, where after the installation started. Being our first piece of CNC equipment, I had asked for Voortman’s technician to stay for a couple of extra days just to make sure that we were comfortable running the machine. No need.
By the end of the week we had it down and were in full production. Voortman’s customer service is excellent and the V600 is everything I had hoped it would be. Our production levels are way up, in fact we can drill faster than we can saw and get material to the V600, even when bundle cutting. When we continue to grow and expand Voortman machinery will again be at the top of my list."
