Introduction

VB-series of Band sawing machines The Voortman band saw range are especially designed for cutting structural steel. The VB range distinguish itself though its stiff and rigid heavy frame. Therefore fast and high quality cutting is guaranteed.

The band saws can be installed as stand alone machines or in combination with other Voortman equipment.

Adjustable sawing pressure

To create the highest output, the sawband feed and sawing speed are automatically adjusted to the material thickness. This continuous process creates maximum cutting quality.

Automatic material detection

Rapid approach towards the material by using laser material measurement. This process ensures a faster sawing cycle.

Sawing blade

The sawing blade is operating under an angle of 5 degrees. This results in optimal material removing. Angle operation in combination with a stiff sawing blade that can handle much pulling tension ensures precise cutting at an unparalleled speed.

Multiple measurement systems possible

The choice for multiple measurement systems creates flexibility for cutting structural steel. A feeder truck with material detection is an ideal solution for cutting shorter lengths, while a full stop length measuring system is most suitable for bundle cutting.

Interconnect all your machines with VACAM control software

The software program “VACAM-Machine Edition” is installed on the control system. The control system can be integrated in the company’s network, so DSTV- and DSTV+-data can be directly downloaded, from system files within the company database, to the system.

Software

In VACAM, production data can be in- and exported in the format of DStV(+).

Besides the comfort of a Windows based environment VACAM has the advantage that authorized persons at all times can retrieve real-time information about the production progress. This can be done through an on-screen in-motion presentation of the system.

For a more detailed report the Production Data Exporter module can be used. This module allows real-time fabrication information sharing. In any case all operations and motions performed on the system are stored for sharing with any ERP, MRP, MIS and BIM software systems.
