Germany | In the German Brehna, the company Stahlbau Brehna recently invested in expansion of their processing equipment. Having the best price/ performance ratio they choose to invest in the Voortman V320C combined plate cutting and drilling system. “We achieve an average of 200% in capacity increase compared to the conventional production technology and next to that a much higher accuracy in the manufactured parts”, says Managing Director Matthias Gabler.
Turkey | Dorçe Prefabricated Building & Construction Industry Trade INC. is a Turkish general contractor founded in 1982. Their vast worldwide experience which provides engineering, procurement and construction services for projects, requires high quality services in extreme environments. Dorce owns one of the largest prefabricated steel structures manufacturing facilities in the world. The manufacturing facility located in Ankara - Turkey, has a total area of 100.000 m2 (55.000 m2 workshop area).
Turkey | Karçel is a Turkish steel structure factory which is owned by Kardemir Corporation, a well known company in the business world. Karçel Incorporated was established in December 1998 and 99,9% of its shares belong to Kardemir. Karçel invested in a Voortman machine for the second time. After the first investement in the V505-160M punching and shearing system they chose again for the Voortman quality. Their second machine is a V200 plate drilling system.
Germany | In October 2012 the company Schwevers & Raab Stahl-Hochbau GmbH moved into a new production facility in the German Kalkar. The earlier investments: a Voortman V550 punching and shearing system and V3100 stock system, moved along. A new V630 drilling system, VB1050 sawing system as well as a V320C plate processing system and VSB1500 shot blaster are installed in the 4.000 m2 workshop to create a highly automated production line.
The Netherlands | Jos Reijns from the Dutch steel construction company Jac Reijns Staalconstructie in Alphen, The Netherlands invested in a V613T/ VB750 drilling,- layout marking- and sawing system from Voortman. In the first place for fully automatic processing of steel beams, but with the introduction of layout marking he expects to take advantage of great time savings. “Now we have the time to explore this new method, so we are fully equipped for the future”.
